Split Kit

If the parties to be tested live at different addresses, we can split the kit and send the kit to each address separately. Since the kits are individually barcode labeled, they will be tested together once the samples arrive back at the laboratory. To order a split kit, simply state “please split this kit” in the comments box of the online order form. Please also indicate which name and address to send each component. Alternatively, you can choose to have the entire kit shipped to you and you can split the kit yourself and send the components to the other parties in the test.

Legal Testing Guarantee

The private test is the best solution for those who need to find out the truth about paternity before deciding on the next step. If, after you receive the results of your private test, decide that you need the legal test, the full cost of the private test will be deducted from the legal testing cost, so you don’t need to pay twice!

Prenatal DNA Paternity Test

Our prenatal DNA paternity testing services are designed to help you conclusively determine the paternity of your unborn child. A prenatal paternity test is performed using a prenatal sample from the child which is collected using either one of the following two procedures:

Amniocentesis: Testing amniotic fluid which is collected by your obstetrician after the 12th week of pregnancy.

CVS: Testing chorionic villus samples collected by your obstetrician between the 10th and 12th week of pregnancy.

Prenatal DNA Paternity Testing FAQs

Between your 12th and 21st week of pregnancy, your obstetrician can collect a prenatal sample for you using a procedure called amniocentesis. Amniocentesis involves inserting a needle into the amniotic sac which surrounds the unborn child to withdraw a small amount of fluid. This fluid is called amniotic fluid and contains cells from your unborn child. This fluid can be sent directly to our laboratory for DNA paternity testing. The results of the test will conclusively determine paternity and can also provide additional information, such as the sex of your child.

Between your 10th and 12th week of pregnancy, your obstetrician can collect a prenatal sample for you using a procedure called Chorionic Villus Sampling. Chorionic Villus Sampling involves inserting a tube into the cervix and aspirating a small amount of tissue. This tissue can be sent to our laboratory for DNA paternity testing.
